The British block- buster tag team of the Harry Potter author JK Rowling and the überproducer David Heyman continues to be unstoppable in terms of imagination and box-office muscle. You might have thought that Rowling and Heyman had reached their movie-making zenith when the eight-film Potter series concluded in 2011 with combined grosses of more than £6 billion. Yet last year they returned with the first Potter spin-off, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which has made a stonking £644 million. As well as confirming that the pair had lost none of their talent for conjuring torrents of money, that film also established the Gloucestershire-born Rowling, 51, as a screenwriter
