Raven’s Home Cancelled After 6 Seasons on Disney Channel, Alice-Centered Spinoff Pilot in the Works

The future is not looking bright for Raven’s Home, which has officially been cancelled by Disney Channel after six seasons, TVLine has confirmed.

A continuation of That’s So Raven, which aired on Disney Channel from 2003 to 2007, Raven’s Home reunited viewers with the sitcom’s titular psychic (played by Raven-Symoné), who was now the mother of twins — including a son Booker (Issac Ryan Brown), who has clairvoyant powers of his own. Set in Chicago for its first four seasons, Raven’s Home ultimately relocated back to San Francisco (aka the original setting of That’s So Raven) for the remainder of its run.

In addition to the psychics mentioned above, the original cast of Raven’s Home included Navia Robinson as Raven’s daughter Nia, Anneliese van der Pol as Raven’s BFF Chelsea, Jason Maybaum as Chelsea’s son Levi and Sky Katz as their neighbor Tess. Nearly all of those actors departed ahead of Season 5, which then introduced Rondell Sheridan as Raven’s dad Victor, Mykal-Michelle Harris as Raven’s niece Alice, Felix Avitia as Booker’s new buddy Neil and Emmy Liu-Wang as Victor’s neighbor Ivy.

Raven’s Home‘s Season 6 finale, which now will serve as its series finale, aired on Sept. 3, 2023.

As part of an overall deal with Disney Branded Television, Raven-Symoné will executive-produce and direct Alice in the Palace, a comedy pilot that follows Alice back to England, where she reunites with her doppelganger, Duchess Clementine. Harris will play both Alice and the duchess.

Our sister site Deadline was first to report the news.
