Prince William sent Harry a message with George picture and he 'took it to heart'

Prince William sent Harry a message with a Prince George photo and the Duke of Sussex reportedly took it to heart. The Royal Family heir to the throne and Harry have a tumultuous relationship in the wake of the latter's exit from the royals alongside wife Meghan Markle.

Prince Harry and the Duke of Sussex were sent a message about the line of succession in a royal photo featuring King Charles, William and Prince George, a royal author claimed. Robert Lacey, who in his book Battle of Brothers, wrote for the Daily Mail.

He said the image as "fascinating" and "historic", reminding viewers of the "essence of the royal system", and added: "The (then) current monarch with three future monarchs. All the living heirs - and not a suggestion of a 'spare'."

He added palace sources "let it be known" and was "enthusiastically supported" by William which "might be seen as sending his younger brother a message", Mr Lacey said. The author claimed Harry took the photo "to heart".

ITV reporter Chris Ship said: "It was the Queen and the three future kings - and there was also a bit of video of them stirring Christmas puddings. I'm not saying they were cutting Harry and Meghan out because it was a brutal fact that Harry was never part of that line of succession."

Harry and his son Archie were nowhere to be seen - as they are much further down the line of succession. Mr Ship said: "The portrait that Buckingham Palace released to mark the start of the decade. Mr Ship went on and said the aim of the picture was to "start of a decade it felt like the royal family was very much focusing on the future - the Queen and her three heirs [William and Charles and George]."
