Auto-reply without +noreply modifcation

Setting up an auto reply mail from a support@ mail account, to inform the user we are very busy and it might take 2 days, should not be send from support+noreply@.

This unwanted modification of the sender email causes people not being able to reply, without them knowing it, as the message 'just disappears'.

I am so confused about this behavior as i don't understand why anyone would want this to be forced / unmodifiable.
We want people to be able to reply to this email if they want to add any information.

I tried everything with routing rules but it seems this is purposely being restricted in ALL ways.. both with in and out rules.

So my question is, what is the desired way to set up a friendly auto reply for a group?

A clarifying question:

Are you referring to setting an auto reply on a group, as described at https://support.google.com/a/users/answer/4399701?hl=en or are you referring to setting a vacation message on an account, as described at https://support.google.com/mail/answer/25922?hl=en ?

If it's a group, does setting the "reply to" as described in the "Choose who will receive your messages" section of https://support.google.com/groups/answer/1046523?hl=en help, perhaps?

Auto replies from a group. We purposely don't use a different login / account for support mails so we need to use the auto reply method from Groups. I know the normal auto reply doesn't have this issue.

I just had another idea: Maybe set up support@ as an actual account with a vacation message, and either use delegated access (https://support.google.com/mail/answer/138350) or forward that account to a group?

Thank you for your quick replies and thinking with me.

I will have to investigate this particular solution, if it has minimum impact on the way of working now, it could be the solution if the default behavior is forced on all levels. It's sad that it will cost me another subscription due to an purposely added limitation on Google's side.

That's why I would still like to know if there is any solution to the issue of '+noreply' being added to the sender email of 'group auto replies'.
Or if there is any way in receiving the emails being send to the +noreply version of this email address.
I can add '+anything' to the email address and i will receive it, except noreply which is automatically added and works as blackhole route.

It seems to be such a weird limitation that i can imagine only few people would actually find desirable and more people asked for workarounds .

Thanks again!

I am having this same issue! Is there a fix yet?
