Transferring ownership from inside an organization to an individual outside the organization.

My main work email has a unique @domain address instead of an @Google.com address and I am currently unable to transfer documents to someone outside of our organization. Is there a work around to this?

If you use your Google Account for work or school:

• You can only transfer ownership of files and folders to someone in your organization.
• The transfer doesn’t require the new owner to accept.
