There has been a lot of discussions around pedagogy and how best to deliver education to our new cohort of learners and students. Online learning plays a big part in this but which methodology is best? I recently was working with a university that implemented a new online learning environment, which helped to facilitate the move to Block Learning. The VLE provided the flexibility to help navigate the challenge of the huge variety of students who are now engaging with online learning at Universities. So, when thinking about pedagogy and the part the online learning platform plays in this, we should all start with the learner and ask ourselves what will best make our content and courses more accessible, engaging and digestible to our learners
