Sometimes we need to think out of these rules, at the same time we need to know what are the limits. So the better understanding and knowledge of code will guide us to find proper solutions for exception situations. The code will solve problems during design.but the thing is we need to think the practical side also.

I have been incredibly lucky throughout my career to be able to gain perspective in a vast array of civil arenas. I started off doing CAD work and simple field surveys which led into a civil tech role with an engineering firm. Following my heart I wanted to get outside and get my boots dirty some more so I became a construction & legal boundary surveyor, both in the field and the office. Being able to do the OG surface survey, do the civil design, construction staking and the final as-builts has allowed me to obtain some really amazing jobs and a wealth of knowledge with a thirst to learn more.

Auto cad has many short cuts for faster and easier drafting. Technical knowledge is more demanding than theoretical knowledge in case of drafting.

In drafting I think the basic thing before working is we need to identify the problems which are going to come during drafting , collect proper and specific information from the information, plan our steps to complete the process. In this way we can tackle the problems and achieve the target in a smooth journey.
