Before you start working on a robotics project, you need to have a clear and shared understanding of the goal. What is the problem you are trying to solve? What are the specifications and requirements of the solution? What are the roles and responsibilities of each team member? Having a clear goal will help you align your efforts, communicate better, and avoid conflicts.

Avant de commencer un projet, il faut établir un plan d'action, le soumettre à toute l'équipe et faire un exercice d'échange et de feedback afin de déterminer quel est le meilleur schéma !
Communication is key to any successful team, especially in robotics. You need to communicate frequently with your teammates about your progress, challenges, feedback, and ideas. You also need to use the appropriate tools and channels for communication, such as email, chat, video calls, or online platforms. Communication will help you coordinate your tasks, share your expertise, and learn from each other.

I have always believed that communication is the key to being most effective especially when working as a team. It helps to understand goals better, meet deadlines, get feedback, etc. Furthermore, discussions often lead to new ideas which result in Innovations.
Robotics is a diverse field that involves different perspectives, backgrounds, skills, and styles. You need to respect the diversity of your teammates and appreciate their contributions. You also need to be open-minded and willing to learn from others, even if they have different opinions or approaches. Diversity will help you enrich your creativity, problem-solving, and innovation.
Collaboration is more than just working together. It is about leveraging the strengths and complementing the weaknesses of your teammates. You need to collaborate effectively by sharing your resources, information, and ideas. You also need to use the best tools and methods for collaboration, such as version control, code review, documentation, or testing. Collaboration will help you improve your quality, efficiency, and reliability.

Yes, it’s essential when it comes to robotics projects. If you don’t collaborate effectively, you could still finish the project, but it would take longer. Instead, if you understand your team and your teammates’ skill sets, and delegate specific tasks to a teammate who can complete them quicker than you, it will be beneficial for the team. You could delegate tasks to them and take on their tasks instead. It might be a bit difficult in the beginning because you aspire to be someone in robotics, and you might feel like you’re giving up. But from my perspective, it’s one of the most efficient things to do. When you see talent, move aside and try to work with it rather than against it 😇.
Working in a robotics team can be stressful, demanding, and frustrating at times. You need to support each other by offering help, encouragement, and recognition. You also need to be supportive of your teammates' learning, growth, and development. You can support each other by giving constructive feedback, celebrating successes, or mentoring new members. Support will help you build trust, morale, and loyalty.
Last but not least, you need to have fun while working in a robotics team. You need to enjoy the process, the challenges, and the outcomes of your project. You also need to have fun with your teammates, by socializing, joking, or playing. Having fun will help you reduce stress, increase motivation, and foster camaraderie.
