Trade Support Associate at a Prestigious Hedge Fund

Join our esteemed hedge fund client, where an exciting opportunity awaits you as a Trade Support Associate. As a key member of the Derivatives Trade Support team, you will play a crucial role in the daily confirmation and settlement of a diverse range of financial products, including fixed income, rates, credit, futures, and FX.

Responsibilities:

• Confirm daily trade activity and proactively manage exceptions for Futures products.
• Verify and reconcile positions with prime brokers/Futures Commission Merchants and trading counterparties.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and external counterparts to swiftly resolve trade-related issues.
• Facilitate the quarterly bond futures delivery process in coordination with portfolio managers and FCMs.
• Resolve Futures commission, fee, and tax differences with counterparties, and assist in executing give-up and clearing fee schedules.
• Monitor and execute funding trades for NDF markets.
• Respond to queries from both internal and external clients.
• Contribute to the onboarding process for new PM teams, including account setup, platform training, and third-party connectivity.
• Actively participate in enhancing team processes through automation and identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and control.

Desired Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics, or mathematics.
• 2+ years of experience in buy-side middle office operations supporting high-volume trading strategies.
• Expert knowledge of listed futures and options markets, products, and lifecycle processes.
