Job Overview:


Responsible for all vendor and honoraria payments, which includes preparing and ensuring accuracy of all reconciliations necessary for creating check runs, ensuring payments match web-based financial system information This person is responsible for paying vendors and speakers for all projects and programs in a timely manner. In addition, this person is tasked with ensuring all financial records are accurately maintained.

Essential Functions:


  • Process transactions related to weekly honoraria and business expenses, ensuring accuracy. Ensure web-based financial system accurately reflects transactions in bank account. Provide financial reporting as needed.
  • Prepare and coordinate weekly payments, including check runs and wires, for all business expenses and honoraria payments. Ensure back up for all payments is accurately maintained and organized.
  • Work closely with account team to ensure vendors are accurately set up in financial system before payments can be made and that all backup needed to create payments is received and in order.
  • Ensures all spending and deposits are maintained in web-based reporting system and tie out to bank account.
  • Ensures client payments are booked in web-based reporting system and that AR is reduced accordingly when we receive remittance.
  • Ensure timely timecard reporting is completed weekly for all resources.
  • Administration of financial systems.
  • Be familiar with, and ensure compliance with, internal financial accounting procedures and policies.
  • Ensure all financial and accounting records are thoroughly maintained and complete.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years’ experience in accounting or finance, equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Knowledge of General Ledger accounting.
  • Knowledge of finance modules of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, PeopleSoft.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Technical accounting skills.
  • Good analytical and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to identify financial issues and execute mitigating actions.
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $64,300.00 - $107,100.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
