CCPA Annual Metrics: Calendar Year 2022

Effective on August 14, 2023

The CCPA Regulations promulgated by the California Attorney General require that certain businesses disclose annual metrics regarding their responses to certain consumer requests under the CCPA. This notice contains LinkedIn’s CCPA-specific metrics for the 2022 calendar year. In particular, these metrics reflect the number of requests LinkedIn received in which the requester specifically invoked the CCPA. Because LinkedIn offers all its members the ability to exercise their rights to access and delete their data without the need to identify the law that authorizes their request, these metrics exclude data regarding the majority of successfully completed access requests, such as those achieved using LinkedIn’s automated data download feature.

In the calendar year 2022, LinkedIn processed the following number of requests that explicitly invoked the CCPA:

Requests Received Complied with in whole Complied with in part Denied Mean Days to Respond
Requests for Information   14 12  0 2 21.2
Requests to Delete   3 2  0 1 14.3
Requests to Opt-Out of Sales  N/A  N/A  N/A  N/A  N/A
