Search Google Drive files in Chrome URL bar BETA
Thank you for your interest in participating in the "Search Google Drive files in Chrome URL bar" Beta program. When developing new products and features, Google often makes them available first through a Pre-General Availability program to help develop and test the product or feature and get feedback from users before making them available to all users.

To be eligible to participate in the Beta program, you must be an admin of the G Suite domain specified in this form.

What is the Test Product?
This feature lets users in your domain using the Chrome browser search for Google Drive files that they have access to using the Chrome URL bar. This goes beyond current functionality, which lets users search for Google Drive files that they have recently accessed.
What controls need to be enabled?
This functionality requires you providing a domain to whitelist for the purpose of enabling an admin console setting.

When your domain is whitelisted, the feature will be enabled by default.

This feature requires users to be signed into Chrome profiles with their enterprise accounts. They must also have Chrome Sync enabled.

Any user in the domain can subsequently enable this functionality in Chrome if the admin console setting is enabled; admins can always disable it. They will need to enable the feature by going to chrome://flags/#omnibox-drive-suggestions and enabling the feature.

Users also should be using Google Chrome version 69 or newer. They can check their version number by going to Chrome > About Google Chrome.
