If you use Uber with an iPhone, you can turn off unwanted marketing notifications — but the feature is a leetle hard to find. Okay, it’s a lot hard to find. John Gruber found it, though: go to Account > Settings > Privacy > Offers and Promos from Uber and tap the word here. You can then unsubscribe from some or all Uber marketing emails or notifications.

Google Maps is a handy way to view a specific address — but if you’d rather keep your house private, you can request it to be blurred out. CNET explains how: in Street View, click on the tiny “Report a problem” link in the lower right, and follow directions. But make sure this is what you want — apparently, there’s no unblurring.
The company was originally going to shut it down on January 1st, but now the end has finally come: Mint will disappear after tomorrow, March 23rd (so it’s a good time to finally download that data).
