Really Good. Beats its competition

Functionality
Click n go. Perfect functionality, but needs some modernization in its looks. Can be done with your CSS as I did.

Ease of use
Really easy, with only a little sass if you need some complicated settings. But for users who want just upload n go, this is what you need!

Good but not enough for taking so many 5 star comments

Posted on 17 September 2013
To be fair, this is the first contact extension I m looking for, so I compare this only to Joomla's native contact form. I don't understand why so many people rated it with 5 stars since this form, although it is very good, is lucking some features such as a nicer look on Captcha system and a possibility to translate the captcha messages:

"Please enter the following security code:"

and

"Not Readable? Change text".

The tutorial is missing info about how to use the Multiple Captcha Engine plugin.

All in all, I believe this is a good extension with many choices, but it is still not perfect to receive 5 stars.

Very good plugin but I feel unsafe using it after I updated or uninstalled. It messed up my website.

Even though this plugin is really good and helps a lot, support is poor. When time came and I needed to update, it messed up my components section where everything disappear and I couldn't bring them back. I had to reinstall the whole site with Akeeba backup. Same thing happened with another website when I decided to uninstall this plugin. I contacted the developer but he didn't show great interest in solving this bug.

Documentation don't exist and this sucks

Do NOT install if you want it to work more specifically so that it meets your exact needs. Or if you don't know how to use article id's.

The extension looks fanky but the developer has made NO documentation on how to make this work and you have to find it out yourself. Yes, even though that he CLAIMS there is documentation, in reality there is NO documentation. I personally lost 3 hours looking everywhere. And don't consider asking the developer, he doesn't even reply to customers with PAID versions or in forums.

He (or they) works hard for making many many plugins but there is no real care for his customers. Compare a super-duper documentation such as the Akeeba Backup with this non-existent trash.

Dev, I 'm sorry for the hard critic, but someone should shout truth about Joomla's sake.

Jen (from Lynda) should be ashamed for commenting on this

I downloaded Xmap after I watched Jen Krammer from Lynda.com for creating site maps.

It seems good. However, it is very unprofessional compared to other extensions.

I could not configure my site map in the way I would like.

-There was a stupid green stick icon next to each link.

-The sitemap doesn't break in columns if you have a long menu.

-I cannot remove the title(name)of the menu.

-Sometimes, the order of the menus is weird. i.e. The footer menu was first (on the right) and the main menu was second (on the left).

-I have a bilingual site and it doesn't recognize other than latin.

I didn't try support. I was already dispirited from what I saw on the reviews.

Don't install except if you wish to have an unprofessional site map or you can't do otherwise.

If the developer decide to develop it further or support it better, I will definitely follow him.

Good one, seems promising.

I wasn't able to make the system report to me an unsuccessful registration. Apart this, configuring it was easy and a pleasant task.

I think that in next versions this extension can be very good.

Import for K2

K2 extensions
With this component you can import content into K2 from a CSV-file and export your K2 data to a CSV file. This is not a good component for regular backups. It's much better to backup the database directly! Use this extension for transferring items to/from K2, mass updates in K2 and so on, but do not relay on it as your only backup. Important: - the version 1.x is for Joomla 1.5 /1.6 / 1.7 / 2.5...
