North of the Girard Avenue Bridge you will find ‘Playing Angels’ by Carl Milles. These angels overlook the Schuylkill, but they were cast from originals that overlook Stockholm’s harbor.

The ideal weekend runners route since the road is closed to automobiles Saturdays and Sundays April through October. Many different trails are located along central route with mileage markers.

Leave the narrow path to the runners: for a less crowded bike ride, try Valley Green along the Wissahickon!
