- If u are visit the upper part of Fort Mason @ Bay & Franklin keep in mind there is road construction happening. Driving in/out is a little confusing at the moment.

- A lot of skunks call the big meadow their home. See them frequently, never seen one agitated by people walking around.
- Biannual Vintner's is the best! Get ready to day drink hundreds of different wines!
- Park rangers giving tickets for having glass bottles. Even if it's just water!
- There's an inexpensive place to get coffee or a light meal in the back of the Youth Hostel.
