Anafranil is used for treating obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Anafranil can be a tricyclic antidepressant. It works by helping the activity of certain chemicals in the brain, which helps to lessen obsessive-compulsive behaviors.

STORAGE
Store Anafranil at room temperature, between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C), inside a tightly sealed container. Store from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store within the bathroom. Keep Anafranil out of your reach of youngsters and away from pets.

Severe allergy symptoms (rash; hives; itching; lack of breath; tightness inside chest; swelling from the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); blurred vision or any other vision changes; modifications in libido; chest pain; confusion; decreased sexual ability; fainting; fast, slow, or irregular heartbeat; fever; flushing; frequent or difficult urination; impulsive behavior or any other unusual changes in behavior; mental or mood changes (eg, increased anxiety, moodiness, agitation, irritability, nervousness, restlessness); numbness or tingling from the skin; panic attacks; ringing inside ears; seizures; severe dizziness or drowsiness; sore throat; stomach pain; suicidal thinking or behavior; swelling with the testicles; tremor; sleep disorders; trouble walking or keeping your balance; twitching with the face or tongue; uncontrolled movements or stiffness of arms or legs; unusual bleeding or bruising; worsening of depression; yellowing with the skin or eyes.
