The Chrome Dev channel has been updated to 10.0.648.11 for all platforms.  This build contains stability fixes and refinements to the new settings pages. Update: This release will reset any flags you had set. You can set them again in about:flags. Full details about the Chrome changes are available in the SVN revision log. The Chrome OS Beta channel has been updated to 0.9.130.14 with Chrome 8.0.522.344
This release includes the security fix listed below:
  • Kernel is vulnerable to CVE-2010-4258 (10234)
Additionally there are following stability bug fixes included in the release:
  • 3G: Show proper error message for post connection failure (10282)
  • Network disconnect crash (8587)
  • flimflam crash (8871)
  • Need to support raw WPA psk (10288)
  • WPA2+TKIP makes ChromeOS unusable (10249)
  • Sleeping/resuming the device twice with wifi disabled - fails enable wifi (9405)
  • Report update success/fail on first boot post AU update attempt (9198)
  • Sound turns static-like after listening to music or using video chat (10720)
  • flimflam: use -Wall (9709)

The Beta channel has been updated to 9.0.597.67 for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome Frame.

Due to stability issues Flash Player sandboxing has been put behind a flag for 9.0.  Accelerated compositing and WebGL will remain on.  The remaining set of changes for this release constituted bug and stability fixes.

Chrome on stable channel has been updated to 8.0.552.237 for all platforms.  Chrome OS has also been updated, to 8.0.552.334. These releases contain the security fixes listed below.

Security fixes and rewards:
Please see the Chromium security page for more detail. Note that the referenced bugs may be kept private until a majority of our users are up to date with the fix.

We’re delighted to offer our first “elite” $3133.7 Chromium Security Reward to Sergey Glazunov. Critical bugs are harder to come by in Chrome, but Sergey has done it. Sergey also collects a $1337 reward and several other rewards at the same time, so congratulations Sergey!

Also of note is a clarification on our default charity policy. Some researchers are unable to accept rewards, or even provide a suggestion for a charity. In such cases, it feels like a shame to lose a charitable contribution so we will default reward money to the Red Cross.
