- [Instructor] I've created this course to introduce you to the foundations of relational databases no matter what platform you want to work with or which operating systems you use. So I don't expect you to come in with any prior experience with databases or have any specific hardware or software installed. We're literally going to start at the very beginning, and I'll walk you through the process of obtaining and installing all of the tools that you'll need. Other than that, if you have some data of your own that you can apply to the lessons as we go along, that'll definitely help reinforce your learning experience.
