- What’s DrupalCon Europe?
DrupalCon Europe is an event uniting thousands of people from around the globe who use, develop, design and support the Drupal platform—all creating ambitious digital experiences. It serves as the European counterpart to The DrupalCon, which takes place annually in the USA. Each year, DrupalCon Europe selects a new European destination to host the event. In 2024, we are excited to gather in Barcelona.

- What’s the Drupal Association?
The Drupal Association is an educational non-profit organization that collaborates with Kuoni Tumlare Congress to organize DrupalCon Europe. Supported by individual members and organizations, the Association utilizes its resources, network, and funds to engage in various initiatives aimed at educating people about Drupal. Through events like DrupalCon Europe, the Association continues to advance its mission and support the vibrant Drupal community.
- What does “Builder” mean?
A ‘builder’ is loosely defined as someone who creates and builds with Drupal. Though the job titles can vary, past DrupalCon builder attendees have included: Developers, Site Builders, Technical Managers, Project Managers, Front-End Designers, DevOps Specialists and Site Administrators.
- What registration types are available?
We offer several registration discounts to make attending DrupalCon Europe more accessible:
Early Bird: Register by 28 June to take advantage of our Early Bird discount. Tickets are priced at 775 € during this period.
Regular: From 29 June to 19 August, tickets are available at the regular rate of 930 €.
Late: Late registration is available from 20 August to 20 September at a rate of 1065 €.
Onsite: For those who register after 20 September, onsite registration is available at a rate of 1330 €.
- What registration discounts are available?
- Student Discount: Students can enjoy a discounted rate of 485 € until 20 September by providing a valid student ID card.
- Group Discounts: Groups of 5 or more enjoy special discounts. Until 28 June, the group rate is 750 € per ticket, and from 29 June to 19 August, it's 900 € per ticket.
Please note:
-To avail of the group discount, all tickets must be purchased together in a single transaction.
-If you're using a sponsor registration, please follow the instructions received via email rather than registering through the general link.
-Grants and Scholarships: You can find all information about grants and scholarships here.
-Complimentary tickets for speakers or those provided by sponsor companies will be distributed via email, along with instructions on how to redeem them.
- Where do I apply for my Visa letter?
DrupalCon Europe organising team is happy to issue an official letter of invitation to DrupalCon attendees who must obtain a visa for travel to Spain. Please note this letter does not constitute any financial commitment on the part of the conference. During the registration process for DrupalCon Barcelona you will be asked if a visa is needed. If you check yes, an invitation letter will be sent to you by e-mail after the registration. Please note that the invitation letter is only issued to attendees with fully paid registration.
- What food and beverage are included with my ticket?
Your ticket to DrupalCon Barcelona includes two coffee breaks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, to keep you fueled throughout the day. Additionally, enjoy a bag lunch with a refreshing cold meal provided every midday. As Barcelona offers beautiful beaches right next to the conference center, we suggest taking your lunch for a beachside picnic experience.
- Can I cancel my registration and receive a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable; however, you can transfer your ticket to the person of your choosing. Registration transfer requests must be submitted in writing to drupal@kuonitumlare.com
- How can I transfer my registration to someone else?
In order to transfer your ticket to the person of your choosing, contact us at drupal@kuonitumlare.com.
- I would like to have my child accompany me at DrupalCon. Do they need to register?
Children are more than welcome to accompany you at DrupalCon Barcelona! There's no need to pre-register them, but if you'd like them to enjoy conference meals or receive conference materials, please reach out to us. Upon arrival at the Barcelona Convention Center, visit the Registration Help Desk to obtain a guest badge and sign in your child. We look forward to welcoming your little one to our event!
All attendees, regardless of age, must adhere to the DrupalCon code of conduct.
All minors must be accompanied by a registered adult at all times. An unaccompanied minor may result in the dismissal of the appointed supervising adult from the event.
