- Throttling of requests for ‘serverbusy’ errors in Profile and Contact sync
- Suspend limit provision for UserSync
- Option to flush out cache from config-manager UI

We’ve released two security enhancements to Gmail that help protect you from phishing attempts.

- Going forward, email address will be visible next to the display name for senders that aren’t in your Contacts list.

We are temporarily suspending AIM functionality for our Chat product while we wait for needed system updates on the part of of AIM's creator, AOL. During this period, you won't be able to invite your AIM buddies to join your Chat list, nor will you be able to chat with the AIM buddies that you had on your Chat list. We apologize for any inconveniences caused by the temporary suspension of this feature.

We are in direct communication with AOL and they have informed as that they are actively working on these needed updates. Once AOL has finished updating their system, we will reinstate AIM functionality for our Chat product. We appreciate your patience in the interim.

Starting July 2, 2011, RIM will be deprecating support for BES 4.1.6 and 4.1.7. Google Apps will stop supporting these BES versions starting July 2, 2011. Administrators can now transfer all documents owned by one user to another via the Administrator Control Panel. Reassigning ownership can be useful when a user is leaving your organization. This was previously only possible via the Google Documents List API.

Please note that this functionality is only for Google Apps domains that have fully transitioned to the new account infrastructure for Google Apps accounts. This change does not affect any domains that have not yet transitioned to that infrastructure.

How to access what's new:
To transfer documents, click the ‘Advanced tools’ tab in the Administrator Control Panel, scroll down to the ‘Document ownership transfer' section and put the user name of the current owner in the ‘From’ field and the user name of the new owner in the ‘To’ field. Click ‘Transfer documents’ to complete the transfer.

Note: Transfers can be very large. You may want to check with the new document owner to make sure they have enough space in their Docs account. You can check storage used by clicking the ‘Upload’ button from the user’s Docs List.

A Google Apps Admin Audit API is now available. With this API administrators can survey the activities of all of the account's administrators in the control panel. The API gives details about changes to a key subset of their Google Apps services and features settings including settings for Calendar, Chat, their delegated administrators, Docs, domain configuration, Gmail, Groups, mobile settings, organization hierarchy, Sites, and user settings. In addition to the setting changes, the API returns specifics about the change activity itself, including the IP address used by the administrator.

Superstars allow you to use different stars to mark and organize messages, Nested Labels allow you to organize labels hierarchically, and Advanced IMAP controls allow users who access their mail via an IMAP client to only sync selected labels or to limit folder size.
