Page-level permissions is now available in Google sites, allowing you to control who can view and edit the site on a page by page basis. For instance you can make some pages available for your domain while making some pages private for certain users.

Once enabled, there are three options to choose from:
- allow a page to inherit all of your site-level permissions
- elect to include future site-level changes to a page
- prevent a page from inheriting any future changes made at the site-level

- Only site owners have the ability to enable this feature which is turned off by default for new and existing sites.

- Select which of the three options you want for that page.

We’ve released some improvements to make it easier and quicker to use the functions feature in spreadsheets.

- Help snippets directly in spreadsheets: Instead of always manually building a formula, spreadsheets will now offer suggested functions and explanations of that particular function. This also supports nested functions allowing for even more complex formulas.

We recently made some improvements to Gmail for Mobile such as:
- Pull down to refresh: You can now pull down to refresh your message list and conversation on all iOS and Playbook devices.
- High resolution icons: For those of you using Gmail for mobile on an iPhone 4 Retina display, the icons and graphics are now at a higher resolution, making Gmail for mobile sharper.
- Transitions: When you tap on a conversation, tap back to the inbox, go to the menu or go back, the view will slide left or right. This new transition animation is a quick, small indication that makes the view change feel smoother.

We recently introduced a feature that allows users to copy charts from spreadsheets into documents and drawings.

We also introduced some new chart types to Google spreadsheets. We now support candlestick charts and combo charts (which allow you to show columns, lines, and area lines all on the same graph). You can also use the GeoMap chart to insert a data-driven map of the world, a continent, or a country into your spreadsheet. Our TreeMap chart is also useful for statistics.

How to access what's new:
- Create a chart in spreadsheets.
- Select the chart by clicking on it once, which will display the chart’s name. Click the chart name or the arrow next to it to open the dropdown menu of chart actions. From the menu, select ‘Copy chart’.
- Open the document or drawing where you’d like to insert the chart and position the cursor where you’d like the chart to go. Use the Web Clipboard dropdown menu and hover over the item.
- Clicking on the chart item will paste it into the document as an image, which can then be resized, aligned, etc

The ‘Call phone’ feature in Gmail is now available in 38 languages. This was previously only available to users in the U.S.

You can now buy calling credit in your choice of four currencies (Euros, British pounds, Canadian dollars or U.S. dollars). To help reduce the cost of staying connected, we’re also lowering our calling rates to over 150 destinations around the world. For example, it’s now only $0.10 (or €0.08) per minute to call mobile phones in the U.K., France or Germany (landlines are $0.02/min), $0.15/minute to call mobile phones in Mexico and $0.02/min to call any phone number in China and India.
