Site owners now have the option to allow viewers of a site to also see site activity and site revisions.

How to access what's new:
When editing a site, select 'More actions' from the drop-down menu in the top right. Then select 'Manage site', then 'General' and in the 'Access Settings' section, select the level of access you want for collaborators or viewers for site activity and revision history. This new option is also included in the Sites API.

The new Google Apps Migration for Microsoft Exchange tool simplifies migration of email, calendar and contacts from both hosted and on-premise Microsoft Exchange to Google Apps. With this tool, admins can:

- Do multiple migrations in parallel.
- Centrally manage migration without end user involvement.
- Selectively migrate email, calendar or contacts (or any combination thereof).
- Migrate from Microsoft Exchange 2003 or 2007.

When using mail delegation in Gmail, you can now allow a delegate to see your contacts in addition to your email.

Editions included:
Premier Edition

How to access what's new:
Administrators must first enable mail delegation by checking the 'Mail Delegation' checkbox under 'Email Settings' in the administrator control panel. Note: This option will only be visible if your control panel is set to 'Next generation (US English)'.

To enter a delegate, users can select the 'Accounts' tab under 'Settings' in Gmail and click 'Add another account' to enter their delegate's email address.

Once the delegate is signed into their own own Gmail account, they can then access their manager's account from the account selection menu at the top of Gmail. The delegate can access their manager's contacts by clicking the 'Contacts' link. Clicking the 'To', 'Cc', or 'Bcc' links in the mail compose window will also bring up the manager's contacts.

The Google Apps Marketplace allows administrators to discover and purchase integrated third party cloud applications and deploy them to their domains. Applications listed in the Google Apps Marketplace integrate with Google Apps using open protocols. Once added, they then can be easily managed from your domain's control panel and accessed by users through the same links as the Google Apps suite.

You can visit the Google Apps Marketplace directly at http://www.google.com/enterprise/marketplace/home.

You can also access it from your administrator control panel by clicking on 'Add more services' to see the option to shop the Marketplace.

To add an application from the Marketplace:
1) Click "Add it now"
2) Agree to the vendor's Terms of Service
3) Grant access to the data that the app is requesting (some apps require data access, some don't...so only grant access to apps you trust)
4) Turn it on

Google Apps Connector for BlackBerry Enterprise Server now allows two-way calendar sync. Users can accept/decline meetings, schedule new meetings, move meeting times and add/remove meeting attendees in Google Calendar from their Blackberry devices.

Six Gmail Labs have graduated and are now features of Gmail

1. Search Autocomplete - Gmail will suggest terms to help you find your item more quickly.
2. Go To Label - If you have keyboard shortcuts enabled, typing in the search box will autocomplete and suggest a label name.
3. Forgotten Attachment Detector - Gmail looks for phrases in your email that suggest you meant to attach a file and alerts you if it looks like you forgot an attachment.
4. YouTube Previews - If you receive a message with a YouTube link in it, you can now watch the video right below the message.
5. Custom Label Colors - Create your own custom label color.
6. Vacation Dates - Set your dates in advance, enable vacation responder and Gmail will turn it on when the date arrives.

This new clipboard temporarily stores items you’ve copied in the cloud, then allows you to paste them with proper formatting into documents, spreadsheets and presentations.

How to access what's new:
While editing in Google Docs, select the item that you want to copy. Use the new clipboard menu to copy the item in question. Then, go to your other document, spreadsheet or presentation, and use the clipboard menu there to paste the item into the document.

Please note that while items in your web clipboard are available across browsers and across sessions, they do expire after a month.

New improved saving buttons have been launched in documents and presentations to make it easier to know when a document needs to be saved, is in the process of saving or has been saved. They'll be coming to spreadsheets soon.

How to access what's new:
- A clickable save button "Save now" means your document has edits which haven't been saved yet and the timestamp lets you know when it was last saved. You can either wait for autosave to happen after a few seconds, or you can manually save at any time using the keyboard (ctrl S on PC, cmd S on Macs), save button, or by going to through the file menu.

- A disabled button reading “Saving” means your document is currently being saved, and should complete in a second or two.

-A disabled button reading “Saved” means all data in this document is now saved, and the timestamp tells you when the last change happened. You can safely exit the application or continue editing the document.

Message Security for Google Apps, powered by Postini, now provides Message Log Search. This provides administrators with visibility into how messages are processed, filtered and delivered, and insight in the traffic patterns for the domain.

Use Message Log Search to:
- Run searches on message log data using a variety of criteria and queries.
- View search results and details about groups or individual messages.
- Track what happened to an inbound or outbound message -- whether it was delivered, quarantined, archived, encrypted, or other disposition -- and see if the message triggered a specific filter.
- Track all messages for a specific sender, recipient, domain, or IP address.

New mobile device management capabilities have been released that allow administrators to:

- Remotely wipe all data from lost or stolen mobile devices.
- Lock idle devices after a period of inactivity.
- Require a device password on each phone.
- Set minimum lengths for more secure passwords.
- Require passwords to include letters, numbers and punctuation.
